Jody O’Farrell Joins National Sleep Therapy as Sleep Clinician

National Sleep Therapy is committed to recruiting talent and we are delighted to announce that Jody O’Farrell is joining National Sleep Therapy as a Sleep Clinician. Jody works to educate and motivate people with sleep apnea to reach a greater level of health through remote coaching and personal interaction. Sleep apnea impacts over 30 million Americans and she brings to National Sleep Therapy a 20-year background in the respiratory industry. Jody believes “patience and compassion are critical to helping patients succeed”. She was drawn to National Sleep Therapy because “they understand the importance of expert and engaging support to help people get the most from therapy, which is an innovative approach that the entire healthcare community should adopt.”

Before joining National Sleep Therapy, Jody served as Respiratory Therapist Health Coach at Heath Dialog, Inc. in Portland, Maine. She is a certified Asthma Educator (AE-C) and Tobacco Treatment Specialist (TTS-C). “Jody’s expertise in patient education and her emphasis on behavior change to improve health and wellness will be a great addition to our patient support team.” said Peter Falkson, CEO of National Sleep Therapy.

    1. Thanks for following our blog and thanks for the information on Asthma during sleep. Nocturnal asthma symptoms and treatments are really important, interesting and something that is not talked about enough. Hopefully there will be more and more education provided to the sleep community about this.
